Their Oktoppelbock had a great gravity for the style. Peck's Pilsner was bright with a clean finish. Didn't care for the Crop Circle Wheat, though there was a redeeming citrus on the back end. Stone of Scone Scotch Ale was very solid with a smoky nose. Emerald Isle Stout had a caramel nose and was a fine example of the style. Which left their Black Earth Porter as a disappointment. No weight in the mouth feel at all, just a smidgen of coffee, which, given the weakness, was like drinking a cold cup of weak coffee.
I liked their variety, and there are enough bright spots, I recommend them to any fans of the brew pub. "Have a Great Dane."

Great time at the Great Dane. Had three beers: IPA, Pale Ale and Porter. The IPA was excellent, just the right blend of hoppiness with good flavor. The APA was crisp and well balanced. The porter was a bit much, but overall pretty good. The food was good, especially considering the very affordable price. The service was outstanding. Overall, very impressive.
